In order to provide service of higher quality and better environment to applicants for visa for China, The Chinese Embassy authorizes the Chinese visa application service center (hereinafter referred to as the "visa center") in Warsaw to handle businesses regarding visa applications from 15th October 2018. The visa center will provide services such as receiving visa applications, collecting biometric information of the applicants and visa fees, transmitting passports and visa between the Embassy and the applicants, answering inquiries of the applicants and other services in accordance with requirement of the Embassy.

      Since 15th October 2018, visa applicants holding ordinary passports should submit applications at the visa center.

      Applicants holding diplomatic passports or service passports, or applicants for diplomatic, service or courtesy visa or visa (entry permit) for Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR of China can still submit applications at the Embassy without appointment. The Embassy still handles applications of notarization, legalization, Chinese passports and travel documents. The business hours for submitting applications and collecting documents at the Embassy are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00, except for holidays.       Apart from the visa fee collected on behalf of the Embassy, the visa center will charge service fee from the visa applicants, and provide additional services such as mail service at the request of the applicants.       The visa center is not involved in the visa assessment and decision-making process. The consular officers of the Embassy has the authority to decide whether a visa will be issued or not, the type of a visa to be issued as well as its validity, duration of stay and number of entries. If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant.

      The Embassy does not authorize any individual or organization other than the visa center to handle businesses regarding Chinese visa applications. Visa applicants are advised to treat such information cautiously and may contact Embassy if there are any questions.
