Chinese Export Commodities Fair, i.e. Canton Fair is held twice a year in Spring and Autumn since it was inaugurated in the Spring of 1957. It is China's largest trade fair of the highest level, of the most complete varieties and of the largest attendance and business turnover. With the pattern nation-wide 48 trading delegations organize more than 15,000 excellent Chinese enterprises to display about 150,000 varieties of products at the Fair. The CECF is now arranged by 5 categories in 35 exhibiting sections, including industrial products; consumer goods; textiles and garments; gifts; foodstuff and medicines. During the 95th session in Spring of 2004 more than 159,000 overseas buyers from 203 countries and regions attend the Fair, and the trade transaction reaches more than 24.5 billion USD.
