Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi Meets with Krzysztof Szumski, Outgoing Ambassador of Poland to China

On July 15, 2009, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with Krzysztof Szumski, outgoing Ambassador of Poland to China.

During the meeting, Yang thanked for Szumski's positive efforts to push forward China-Poland relations during his term, expressing hope that the outgoing ambassador will continue to play his role in promoting bilateral friendship on his new post. Yang said that China attaches importance to developing ties with Poland and is ready to work with it to take the opportunity of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties to deepen cooperation in all areas and advance bilateral friendly cooperative partnership.

Szumski appreciated Foreign Minister Yang and the Chinese Foreign Ministry for offering support and facilitation to him during his term in China, pledging to continue unremitting efforts to push forward bilateral ties.
